That 'belt and braces' routine is for wimps; proper chaps do belt and braces plus paracord and duct tape.

Now I can see the item has been sold I can advise that I sold a 12V roof spotter to a member on here who had one of those nitesite spotters - and have in the last week also sold the same member a hand held spotter for when he has to leave the truck.
If he sees this post he might pop in and offer an opinion from a buyers/users point of view, having had both in use.
