Wasn't Clive doing something with Photon's ? I didn't really read it too much as no interest to me but something about new Photon with doubler maybe ??

Probably got it wrong though

Just looking at the Xsight myself, they certainly do look good on paper .
Are they really that bad ?
You can usually judge a scoped worth by how many you see for sale 2nd hand,
2nd drones are like hens teeth but the market is flooded with photons . Iv not seen one 2nd hand xsight anywhere on the net , which means guys are holding onto them .

You don't see many for sale second hand because very few were sold in the first place.
The older X Sight 1s were being dumped on E Bay a while back for stupidly low prices - like £150 for the 3-12 without focus adjustment.
The photon is still the best "bang for your buck" dedicated NV scope and it got lots of people into NV who wouldn't otherwise have had a clue about it.
Of those people, some found they didn't like shooting at night, so sold their photons and others upgraded to N870s or Drones

Cheers
