KIT is a range finder module with a control board without a housing, fully assembled and ready for operation. The set includes a radio button to start the rangefinder to measure. Control is simple using 3 buttons.
The kit can be powered from any DC voltage source from 7V to 25V.
It can be powered by a 3V battery. In this case, disconnect the DC-DC converter.
The radio button is powered by a 2032 disk battery or similar at 3V.
Range measurement distance from 5 to 400 meters.
Description.
When power is applied, the name RF-400 and the word Ready> are displayed,
which indicates readiness for measurement.
To start the measurement, press the central button and two values appear on the screen:
distance to the object and angle (the angle can be turned off and on via the menu).
The device displays these readings until a new measurement is taken or the device “falls asleep”.
Sleep time is set in the menu from 15sec, 30sec, 1min, 3min, 5min, 10min, 15min, 20min, 30min.
Through the menu, you can adjust the brightness of the display and the brightness of the laser beam.
In addition, the laser can be turned off and on with the left button.
The menu is called by the right button, when pressed, 7 intuitive icons are displayed.
1- enable - disable angle measurement
2- distance system: meters - yards
3- display brightness
4- laser beam brightness
5- sleep time
6- use or disable the radio buttons.
7- exit from the menu to work.
When working with the menu, the left and right buttons switch the cursor, and the central button - OK (confirmation of selection)
When starting the measurement with the radio button, 2 short presses are required.
KIT consists of
1. Rangefinder without housing with integrated laser
2. The control board for the receiver with a radio module and an OLED display
3. Radio button to control the range finder
