A pair of Bosch illuminators

Post by THE GRIFF » 01 Aug 2014, 11:37

I have a pair 850 frequency 20 degree illuminators I got from tony at amt electrics after he had sold the aegis ones. These are the same casings as the aegis ones but an older design inside. They have many smaller LEDs rather than the few larger ones than are on the modern ones and come with a circuit board mounted in a separate box.
I have never tried them but was assured by tony they would be not far off the performance of the modern Bosch aegis models but not as compact due to the seperate circuit box.
I planned to mount them on my truck with a camera fixed forword to see in the dark whilst driving at night but just never got round to it.

£100 for the pair posted or may swap for another 12v illuminator that is more compact to go on a spotter.

Just found the original email tony sent me when I bought them.
The extra circuit board box is for the conversion tony did to run them from 12v. They have home made ir covers on made by tony the same as he put the aegis.

Last bump before they go back in the garage.
Would be great mounted on a 4x4.
