Sorted: Sightron S-TAC 2.5-17.5X56 IRMH

Post by fizzbangwhallop » 29 Oct 2014, 16:30

Having been mightily impressed by Marky's S-Tac plus Gen3 add-on the other night I've decided it's gotta be the way to go to get my short-action Sako A1 .20Prac out of the cabinet.

So, now that Ash has seen the light  I'm after one if anyone's got one gathering dust..... or knows of a dealer with stock. Aim Field Sports are waiting for the Phillipino factory to get back up and running following the earthquake over there (Poor sods).

I'd prefer the MH ret over the MOA version as it looks likes a finer dot.

What yer got?

Cheers

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting.

watcha Fizz

does it have to be a uk based supplier?

i bought my S111 from these guy's, very quick delivery and even with duty and handling it worked out £100 cheaper than i could get it over here http://www.theriflescopestore.com/sightronscopes.html

cheers jock

Thanks for the link Jock... I'd prefer a UK one just for the lifetime warranty, I spoke to John from AimField Sports earlier today to ask about the warranty transferring to a second owner and he confirmed that it was no problem...for official UK Import 'scopes.

Just been to have a look at the riflescope store and found this trying to find a price under the International shipping.....
"Sightron prohibits the exportation of their scopes. Sorry for the inconvenience" Downer.... but then I think I'd rather support AimField Sports.

Cheers

SORTED Sightron S-TAC 2.5-17.5X56 IRMH

Post by fizzbangwhallop » 06 Nov 2014, 11:35

Sorted by Spud1967...... is there no end to this man's resourcefulness?

Went for the MOA (Thanks for the advice Marky ;) ) Plenty fine enough..... the details of the rets on the Sightron/Aim Field Sports sites suggest that they're 'busier' than they really are.

Can't wait to get it on the .20Prac and the envis on the back of it......looking forward to that.

Cheers Mark/Marky.... much appreciated!

And the other good news is that AimField Sports hope to get some more in stock in the next few weeks following the earthquake disaster in the Phillipines.... originally though it would be 3 months.
