Useless. ...vanguard much better built
That's your opinion which your welcome to air but as I said I think they're brilliant and I use them up to 200 yards and find them very, very stable. Are yours the Gen 2 updated model as I can't comment on the Gen 1 models?

Yep gen2. Vanguard one I have whoops it's ass in stability.

When I first bought my sticks 6 months ago I ranted and raved to how good they were, until a couple months in they have worn and have become very unstable. I now do not recommend them at all and to be honest I'm on the verge of trying return them as not fit for purpose and if they do I'd sell them on and go back to vangaurd

I use just two canes and a length of bike inner tube "rolled down" to where I wanted it. I then made a leather sling that slips (tightly) over the tops of the canes forming a sort of hammock between the two. This supports the rifle now out of the "V" between the canes and makes it a lot more comfortable to shoot. It seems steadier and a lot more manoeuvrable. Can now swing from side to side uninhibited by the canes. (Uninhibited ..... that's a posh word ain't it  )

Hello all.
Last weeks bargain, got up early went to the car boot and on the third stall low and behold a set of unopened Deerhunter Telescopic Shooting Sticks still in their plastic wrapping with it's cloth carry bag for £4.00. Woman said her daughter had bought then to go skiing ? Just love the car boot it's a bit like fishing. Thank you all Phil
