Not a big deal John, bought a few ej230 recently for scopeless builds, still have the 12mm lenses in the box.

what do you hope to achieve by changing to 12 mm from 16 mm .a lot of people including myself were advised to get the 16mm lens from sure 24 when they ordered the cameras. i would be interested if there are advantages in the change to 12mm .or are we talking about different 12 mm lens to the sure units.thanks

With 12mm lens, you will get a circular image, covering all areas, with 16mm, you get a free zoom. Four sides are croped and you get a regtangular image with corners missing.

I just wanted to try it with the e700 in a add on for ratting, although I have a really good picture with 16mm and the scope on 3x, the picture as already said is slightly zoomed, I just wanted to try it with the 12mm and a circle image for close range ratting to see if the field of view is better.
I have always used tubed nv and the digi takes some getting used to, so I wanted to try it for myself with 12mm.

Guys I'm also looking to do this exact thing for exactly the same reason.
Are the 12mm lenses available from sure24 as a separate part?
