Thanks mine came on Tuesday. I take it there is a slight difference between a cs and c thread as c would go on but not a cs.

They have the same threads but there is about 5mm difference in the back focal length.
The adaptors I make are to suit C mount Prime (non zoom) lens focal lengths.

PM'd you Mark.

Anyone else: I have been to the machinist today and seen the parts in a job bin waiting for post ops - which are due to be completed Monday.

There are no mini weaver rails ready at this time.
Ant supplies has some on their website - but the holes will not match up so you would need blanks.

A new batch has been ordered which will have a shallower body and extended collar for thicker panels. I'm told they will be done by late next week but I've heard such optimism before lol.

As that reduces the amout of meat for the fixing screws to retain them the new one's will be anodised aluminium - at £1 extra each making them £15 with anything else or £21 posted RMSD if bought alone.

New alumium C mount adaptors are in stock.... but... The machinist forgot to implement the changes I had asked for regarding their fitting depth.

They are still currently suitable for up to 3mm ish panel thickness in standard form:

I can machine the unseen panel facing part of the main body off to fit to thicker panels which of course also removes the anodising - but there will be lathe chuck marks on the outer edge. Note the shallower body and longer neck:

Another thicker panel batch is on order. Please specify the approximate panel thickess you are fitting them to when ordering.

Fixed with a couple of dabs of hot melt glue or some other very thick quick setting adhesive son. Any fairly experienced DIY type of bloke probably has a hot melt glue gun.

Be sure to read the first part of this thread because The E700 is designed for board cam lenses and the neck is too long for C mount lenses to achieve focus - apart from the added performance.
