It is on ebay, two folk looked at it, one an ex HD50 owner (Theo) who's going to buy another HD50 I believe (mucho £££), and Nick who (as far as I'm aware) really wants a roof mounted spotter (I think he was looking at stripping this for parts, which would have been a great shame in my opinion). This is an ideal first hand held spotter and neither viewers were really in that market, but thought it worth a look.

I bought it originally for various reasons, one was to see if it suited my permissions, another to see if thermal suited me, and another to see what (if any) benefits thermal brought me. It ticked all my boxes for a moderate outlay and I used it for 12 months (ish) then when appropriate I upgraded to a new one.
This is still in the condition I bought it and works perfectly, have no reason to think it will not continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Would that be the same company that prowled the forums for ideas then tried to stop everyone (even diy) from making digital nv by applying to patent the idea ??
Wouldn't use one of theirs if you gave me one, I don't like deceit (probably too honest for my own good) and I've got a very long memory
