Got a tikka t3 here I bought second hand had an issue of it losing zero vertically...so re zeroed no problem...came to give gun a wipe over last night and felt the scope wobble checked the mounts wasn't those...discovered it was the weaver rail 2 of the screws were duff/ over tight and three of them obviously loose. Well 2 of them of them unusable so now need to replace them.
does any one have or know where I can buy some from please as off work for 2 weeks and I'm officially fox gunless as nothing is scoped up that I can use. Cheers

Might be worth speaking to the guys in the GMK workshop and pleading nicely. 01489 579 999.... ask for the workshop though and just tell them the story. Hopefully they're in this week.
The threads on the 595 you sold me are 6x48UNS 0.6pitch and like rocking horse poo to source over here but I think the T3's are M3.5.
Another source could be Dave Wylde at Valkyrie Rifles (Baldie on the ukvarminting forum - a pm might get an answer today) or David/Christel at the ShootingShed http://www.shootingshed.co.uk/oscom/ are very helpful... just don't mention you've been talking to me....... Well, you could
If you end up with 4 screws the same length you'll probably need to grind a bit off the front two.... to avoid knackering the barrel tenon thread and avoid fouling the bolt lugs etc etc
Hope you get some joy!
Cheers

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting.

Hiya Theo,
Just found some in the bits box from modelfixings.co.uk
MF-SC-27's : M3.5x8 long
MF-SC-30's : M3.5x16long
http://www.modelfixings.co.uk/high_tens ... l_caps.htm
But....... dunno if the pitch is correct.
He was very helpful though....... I can post these to you tomorrow to see if they fit if you can't get hold of him.
Just send me a text if you've still got my number... or a pm if not
Cheers
Pete

Pete ...text incoming and u believe the size I need is 6-48...I have also been told screw fix sell a screw selection and maybe worth looking in there or visit some local machine shops but that's looking bleak as I'd say Xmas shutdown
