Hi Ben, Apart from being easier and quicker to take apart they have the same lens diameter, LED and 18650 battery - offering comparable performance. I personally use free unprotected batteries that are salvaged from inside redundant lap top battery packs. There is usually only one faulty battery or balance charging component in the laptop pack thet leads to low er-18650-26650-CR123A-Universal-Mod-Battery-Charger-/111526461555

Got plenty of batteries that I use in my E cigarette so well geared up in that respect.
