I would like a doubler to fit a photon xt If anyone has one for sale

got a photon doubler like brand new and markys adaptor from scots country had them on a photon xt for about a week then sent the xt back for a refund looking at £ 100 posted

Hi sorry to piss on your parade, but I have just sent back my Marky adapter and Yukon doubler to Scott country, because you cannot remove the front lens cover of the XT

Yes, the very latest XT's that come with the hinged lens cap will not accept the doubler adapter.

Has yours the snap in cap or hinged?

Mine came off.. It was stiff, but it come off...

So, is the adapter a different diameter to the new xt lens ?
And is there plans ( marky ) to build a new one ?

I was speaking to Paul at Scott country last week about this and he was trying to remove one without any luck so I don't really know if they will fit or not. With the 6x Photon coming soon it will spell the end of the doublers I'm afraid, well at least from us anyway.

I warmed mine up a bit ( hair dryer ) and just pushed ( thumbs ) behind the hinge... A bit of wiggle & it Come off ..

The outside diameter of the lens is 52mm ( on mine ) ... The lens cap is 51mm .. Hence why it's a tight fit ..

What's the diameter of the marky adapter ?

I didn't want the 6x ... Cos I wanted the 4.5 & doubler ! Lol

Might well fit then cos it's 52.2mm

A mate in OZ is using an XT with the flip up lens with the Markey adapter and doubler from scott country. was a struggle to get the flip cap off,(too many beers, not enought single malt I reckon) but he's well chuffed with results.
I'm still debating the 4.6 with doubler or the 6.5 X50 when it comes out in the next few weeks for the atop the 611 mag.
