Remote controlled Lamp but it sticks. *SOLD*

I got this on ebay. Lamp works great but it has a problem with left to right. It seems to stick when you rotate left and will not come back to the right unless you press the button half a dozen times. I gave it to someone to look at but he seems to have known less about electrickery than me.
Annoys me a bit as it is an excellent lamp when it works, but it is intermittant and I will lose my temper soon and drive over it.
So looking to pass it on to someone who may be able to fix it.
£35 including postage.
So for the purpose of being fair lets just say it doesn't work.

I have no idea of the wattage. It doesn't say anywhere.
Yes it goes up and down as well.
It was made by Deben if that is of any use to anybody.
