VF-C2 with integrated 5v regulator recoil proofed

Hi everyone,

I gather most have seen the EDNV and that I hardened the circuits for recoil and anti-corrosion, well I made a vf-c2 with a 12v to 5v regulator attached, this was changed in my later designs so I have this one left over that has never been used ( only tested ) This one has a regulator that can work from 7v to 42v input voltage to the constant 5v output that the VF-C2 needs. this is all colour coded and wired in ready as it's potted in translucent potting compound.

The VF-C2 ON button is also shorted for permanent ON. The screen has not been potted for obvious reasons, but the ribbon cable going to it has, this makes a very durable solid circuit.

I have a circuit diagram for the person who asks for it, so no worries about the wiring. The price for the VF-C2 viewfinder with integrated voltage regulator and my hard work is only £100 plus £3.90 for postage. First to say "I want it" gets it !

I am making these VF-C2 with recoil proofing with ( picture above ) or without the regulator ( picture below ) on a regular basis, you can drill into the potting compound ( lining up the holes ) as it's translucent, this can help you fix the circuit to the wall of your project in a very strong way. colour coded wires and a diagram will also be given once you order, you will also get the original plastic housing with it but the circuit will not fit back inside, this is just in case you want to still use the eye glass section. These do take a few days to make and then cure....so please wait a week for delivery!

These units are tested before sending, but we cannot give out a warranty on something that is modified plus exposed to the possibility of wiring error by the buyer.
