I thought the same but keep thinking it's because nearly everyone sent theirs back and no one has been buying them since due to the reviews.
I don't think it will ever be a long range capable night platform but the daytime picture is supposed to be first class so if you can manage the trade off with distance viewing at night then go for it.

my mate has one and hes very happy with it . i like the idea of a day/night scope and recording so will give it a go and let you know how it goes.thanks

I had 4 in all and all went back for diffrent reasons i now got a NightSite Eagle great bit of kit
