I now have deeper battery/monitor pods available, about 9mm deeper than the last batch as seen in the centre. They are specifically made for the 5" monitors available from Sure24 and a few others on the bay.

Be warned there are some 5" monitors that initially LOOK identical, but if they have screws in the corners of the rear cover they will not fit these boxes as they are too wide.

The boxes are now 52mm total inside depth and the monitor seats/pivot pegs are solvent welded to 9.5mm deep, the bulge on the rear of 5" monitors adds about 7mm to that giving an available clear space of about 36mm behind the monitor to easily accommodate almost any batteries likely to be used.
