Stick with your .222 Andrew. Pellets are no good on foxes.

Ha ha, I was thinking for the boy, I'm still looking for a .222 mind, nothing about local though

.223 all the way mate.
I have a HW97, although its not for sale. You won't go far wrong with one for your boy. I'd get him to try the weight out first though.
