Photon XT 6.5 -WANTED

The Wardy works really well indeed, beats the snipercam.
I'm still having issues with the getting hold of someone and the custom shim I requested so as to make the transition from day to night much easier but sadly the person is more scarce than Lord Lucan.

For my LR I think that I'd benefit from using a dedicated more than the add-on.

I decided to give the add-ons a wide birth for a number od reasons. All my rifles have picatinny rails attached so scope swapping is simple. At the moment I'm using a Photon 6x50 (+doubler), and Photon Xtreme that I've knocked together. Hand on heart I really rate this kit and I can't see that I will ever have the requirement for anything else in the night vision line - barring thermal of course .

Hopefully the Rozzers will catch up with your Mr Lucan soon.

How good is the Xtreme? Saw a few threads about it but it looked a bit long winded and awkward to do.

The Xtreme? Superb IMHO. It's no real fuss or potch either. All the trial and error work has already been done.

The camera lens improves on the original Photon's original lens immensely. You can also use whatever lens is more suitable for your shooting distance. At the moment I have 135mm lens on mine and I was telling the guys (Fizzbangwhallop and Blueeyes) that I was viewing fence posts crystal clear last night way beyond 300m. With this magnification the dot was easily smaller than the chest of a fox. Not that I see me being in the position, but if ever I was, I would be comfortable and confident (under the appropriate and safe circumstances) to take the shot with this equipment at this distance.

Have a chat with Fizz. He organised the manufacture of the adapters.

phone number for srb where you get the adapter for the extreme,01582661878,just ask for a photon adapter about £35ish,take the three screws (under the black caps) out ,unscrew the whole front end,screw adapter in,then screw lens into adapter,simples,if i can do it anyone can

Nb it won't work with a 6.5xt ''cos the lens is glued on rather than locked in place with screws.
