I am looking for a lightforce 170 variable power lamp with the dimmer wheel control not the button control. I dont want the deben tracer model only the lightforce one. Any one know where i can get one.

You got it the wrong way round john im sure the new lightforce are the button dimmer and the deben tracer are the dial anyway there plenty on the bay

Hi pav the deben tracer has a wheel the new lightforce has the buttons. I am looking for the old lightforce which had a wheel. Best lamp i have had.

Yep your rite john iv got both lamps the old liteforce and tracer and iv found no difference in the pair of them apart from the liteforce had horizontal filament bulb in and had to change it to vertical filament

I can't find any wheel on a lightforce and we have 7 on the estate that are very old and well abused and used and all baring one has a on/off switch all the others have the above combined switch and potentiometer like mine?

The dial is on the top of handle at the back but its a dimmer bob your lot must just be the standard lamps not the dimmer model cheers allan
