Another budget priced spotter that a buyer with a spare illuminator can use it on, so its likely to appeal to someone who splashed out on a laser IR and now has a spare LED IR torch. Spotters don't need as much IR as an add on, nor as tight a beam, and can often be used under moonlight alone.

This one has an F2 M12 lens fitted to an E700 camera in an adaptor that also carries a mini weaver rail for a scope mount equipped IR torch.

The chunky solid machined machined handle has a deep 1/4" 20 TPI tripod thread in the base so it can be mounted to a tripod or perhaps a CB aerial magnet.



The handle can removed and the tripod screwed direct to the spotter so its easier to reach up to and less top heavy.

Buyer supplies their own two flat top 18650 batteries, short button top cells MIGHT fit but the longer one's will not.

The monitor is hardwired with the one metre long trailing cable so the device can be held out a truck window while the monitor is out of sight inside the vehicle, or in a hide etc.


Price is £170. Considering the high specification low light E700 camera alone costs almost £70 this represents very good value for money.

I'm still using old images because photobucket aren't accepting new one's without payment. Can't blame them but you'll have to accept the above photos are old stock images.

Bump - still able to build another one of the above with about 7 days turnaround.

I'll need a commitment before I buy another E700 camera for one.

I'll add one of these heavy duty suction mounts with a modified stainless ball stud at no extra charge. The photos are old stock images - so to clarify: the spotters with integrated illuminators shown are not the same as being offered.

It will depend on the torch you use and the amount of moonlight - near infinity with a decent amount of moonlight and no illuminator because the E700 camera is so responsive to moonlight. This was done with a comparable same brand bullet camera but better lens:

With minimal moon I recommend an LED torch rather than laser because the LED's are nicer than lasers on the zoom you'd want to fill the screen.

In excess of 200 yards with a standard 5W 4715AS LED in your own supply 38/50mm lens zoom torch, 250 yards with a Black Sun LED and well over 300 yards with a black Sun Ruby LED.

When would the lazer illuminator be used ?
Do you do a spotter with a 3.5 inch Screen I can mount it to my scope using the ir torch clamp . would the recoil destroy the lenses. .223 cal.

Ah sorry, I hadn't considered your spare? IR torch was a laser type.

I don't rate lasers for spotters because the wide beam isn't as nice as what an LED offers - and spotters generally don't need as much light as an add on because its not looking through several lenses inside the scope.
I refer to CCD camera spotters that have better low light sensitivity than HD CMOS camera one's.

No I don't make 3.5" one's. 223recoil isn't generally too harsh for lenses.
