Cheers, have tried them and others, but to no avail. The heads have been discontinued by nosler, so my only hope is some hiding in a draw or on a shelf collecting dust somewhere.

Hiya Garfy,
iirc there was something on ukvarminting or Stalking Directory a few years ago on coating bullets in Boron Silicate(?)
Much the same effect as the silver tips coating and I think coating the bullets just involved rolling them around in it and tapping the excess off.....the only downside that I can see with that is that it might rub off in the pouch/pocket/whatever before you got to fire them.
Cheers
Fizz

Im going to have to develop a new load anyway but at the mo im just trying to pull some bits together to get me by. Down to 15 rounds with now
obsolete heads, obsolete powder (varget) and some of my cases are splitting (3rd Load) and a very picky barrel that will only likes Federal factory (hens teeth) so overall
