Pard 007 NV

Post by angrybear » 12 Apr 2019, 11:30

Pard 007 boxed, with extra 47mm DSA clamp to fit mamba-lite & other scopes with knurled ocular &/or scopes with illuminator dial on the ocular, two 18650 batteries included.
This unit has been used to test performance inside from an open window & taken out once to test on a couple of long range known targets.
I just much prefer my Ward700, so this is sat in a cupboard.

Not by much considering the extra cost of the spare clamp & batteries & insured post. ;)

Hi Dave, it has the 16mm lens, quality is good on the mamba-lite the field in front of the house has a max 330yds to the tree line all of which is visible,
if you want I can take some pics with it & try & put them up.

define "close range"
It can focus down to about 8-8.5yds, closer than that I can't get both picture & reticle to both be in focus,
but the scope alone isn't much better that only goes down to about 7 yds
With the units built in digital mag (min 1.7) 3x mag looks more like 5x mag, so FOV is slightly reduced compared to scope alone but not by a lot maybe a couple of inches at 8yds.

Yes that's the tree line easily visible, & a fair bit more, using only the built in IR.

As I say happy to try & take some pics at whatever mag/range.

Really don't want to go below £300 posted.
the spare scope clamp, batteries & insured post are worth £50 so I call that a bargain.
Otherwise it might as well sit in the cupboard with all the rest, "just in case" ;)
