Hi all,
Here's the story.
My brother has been a 'keeper all his life.
He retired three or four years ago to run a 'country pub' (as one does).
Old 'keepers don't die however and so he soon started keepering the local estate.
To cut a long story short. The whole deal fell through and this unit is now for sale.
It was bought from Scott Country in either September or October of 2013.
It is a Starlight Archer Gen.3 'D grade'
The price paid was £1699.99.
All paperwork is available.
If anyone wants to 'try before you buy' that is fine.
He is willing to post this unit.
He is in North Wales.
THIS UNIT IS MINT AND HAS NEVER BEEN USED.
He is looking for £1500.
Please contact me via P.M. for his contact details.
Regards,
baffled

Don't shoot the messenger.
Brand new Grade D with laser £1669
minus Quantum Firefly £329.
= £1340.
So for the sake of £40 You could buy one brand new Grade D without laser from starlight without any risk whatsoever.
I think about £1000 would be a reasonable offer second hand.
A second hand one went on ebay the other day without laser but with a NM800 for £950.
As I said don't shoot the messenger I hope your brother gets £1300

Another messenger that would prefer not to be shot!..............
A Warranty usually only applies to the original purchaser.
As usual it'll be in the small print.

Hi all,
Sorry for the delay, not been on for a couple of days.
Many thanks for the replies. I agree completely with all the above comments.
Since seeing these replies I have spoken to DEAR brother.
Briefly; I suggested pictures, he opened the box and said 'What's this black tube?'
So there is indeed a firefly laser with it.
In view of this and to avoid confusion I propose to start again by offering the same as before plus the laser for the original asking price of £1500.
I shall P.M. all the members who have expressed an interest by P.M. to advise them of these changes.
Sorry for the messing about.
Ken.
