I have a Bresser on the way to me with standard 5x lens
I'm looking for a 3x lens to screw in its place ..
Any one have one for sale ?

If you have a search through some of the old posts it is possible to use c/cs mount lenses with the bresser

not sure a c/cs lens will fit John, without changing the lens carrier or fitting an adaptor.......

iirc the thread is about 40mm

poppy might be able to chip in with the actual size, sent him one up a few months back

Yes thats right mate , i done one quite a while ago when i was going to use it as an add on you fit a cs lens carrier over the sensor , i dont know if you coud add a c mount to m42 adaptor and use slr lenses or even if there would be any advantage in using a 5-100 c mount lens

Anyone done this mod ?
Or is it a wiser move to just get hold of the Yukon 3x

as said, you can fit a cs mount adaptor and put all sorts of lenses on

But for me by far the neatest option is a 3x42 or the 1.7x24 yukon lens
You wont lose much money if you decide to sell them either

Or a ranger lens that's what I have on mine
