To be built to order now I have found a couple of cheaper Cosmicar lenses.
Now that the C mount tubes have 3 camera adjustment screws there is generally no need to move the pre-installed crosshair from a central position. It's a simple matter of very slightly nudging the front of the camera the same way you need your bullet to move.
As can be seen in my signature picture, the rig can be used in the normal cheek weld shooting position - or with the head up from the door mirror of your 4WD etc.
It is offered with a choice of two lenses/prices.
This is basically the same build as below with some refinements including the battery and monitor pod, have a read of it for more information about these rigs:

This is how you remove the monitor to fit or field swap the two 18650 batteries - which are not supplied:

There is no external cabling or batteries of any kind and the rear vents of the monitor are enclosed.
This is how you can expect it to perform in reasonable moon and cloud conditions, as you will see, it can frequently be used to spot or even take some shots with no illuminator:

For anyone who feels OK to use an illuminator slightly more often I can supply it with a cheaper 50mm SLR lens and adapter.
This option has an image size that is about comparable to a 3.5~4 mag scope - making it suitable for subsonic ranges IMO.

An illuminator with mount to fit to the weaver adaptor is available at £40 - take your pick from the ones in my signature photo.
