Hi Bob

Please don't think me rude but I would say that your budget is too low for a secondhand scope of that quality. You probably need £300+ for a good secondhand fixed mag S&B, Zeiss etc. Bushnell do some great scopes offering good value for money but most are variable mag. A new Bushnell 3-12x56 Trophy with No.4 reticle would be a great choice, about £280 new.

Good luck in your search m8. As I say, please don't think me rude, just trying to be realistic.

no worries Kevin

I'm only looking for a scope for stalking and there has been a few meopta's around for this sort of price, its for my stalking rifle that will get used about 1/2 per month so i am not in a position to spend to much on a rifle that will get used less than my 17hmr.

regards

bob.

Bob, I may well have a Meopta 2000 within your budget. It's a 7x50, but I haven't used it for some time and for the life of me I can't remember what it's like.

I'll check it out tomorrow and get back to you. Don't get too excited though, it's only a maybe.

Cheers.
