Hawke varmint 3-12x44
Re: wanted add on nv
Been looking at building another one myself, the first was only good for my air rifle.
Re: wanted add on nv
Digital add on, the unit by itself is in your price range, but requires an IR torch & day scope adapter as well:

NT200 digital add on. Higher price than you want to pay, but better performance than the above and DSA included. Still needs a torch:

NT300. Suitable for the .243, has taken a fox at a measured 296 yards.

Otherwise you will be looking for a Cobra Merlin/Dipol 125 Gen 1 with IR laser and DSA or a Pulsar Challenger Gen 1 with IR laser and DSA.

Re: wanted add on nv
For the same sort of money you could get a Photon MK2, ATN X-Sight, Sniper Cam, or one of the Nite Sites.
So not really any cheaper making your own?

Re: wanted add on nv
What are dipol d125 like? I may be able to get 1 cheap i would rather a monocular style than a screen type
Re: wanted add on nv
Oh, its cheaper. But building an inline unit is a pain in the rear, which appears to be what OP wants.
Building a screened unit? 250 quid will give you an E700 based unit, complete with screen, torch, batteries, mounts, charger, DSA. A lot cheaper than a buying an NS200 and better range and resolution.
