Two electronic callers for sale. *SOLD*

Post by PESCA » 10 Dec 2014, 10:40

Okay fellas I've got two of these callers for sale. Same as this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hunting-Bird- ... 418af2b675

I bought them for me and my mate but apart from ten minutes muck around in the house, I never got fully into them. You can load your own calls onto them and I think I may have put one or two mp3's on there. I've got two Foxpros, but thought these would be good to stick in my pocket as they're only the size of a packet of ciggies (only a good idea if you remember to take them with you though  ).

They come with all of the bits (download/charge lead, remote, instructions, belt clip), and boxed. They do work (just switched them on to try) and come pre-loaded with Chinese bird calls  I seem to remember trying the remote and it was sheee-ite, so I can't guarantee you'll be happy with that side of it.

But, at £25 each, posted, these have got to be a cheap buy. If you haven't got much patience, please don't buy one, as you will have to fart around with them a little.

Thanks for looking.

I'll have one please George.

I'm thinking that the ability to load 'English' calls might make it a handy mate to my main caller in that once foxy gets near the main caller location without noticing me and my 4WD I swap callers to bring it my way from a direction I want it to come from.

There is also the aspect that I might see charlie and not have time to set up the main one.

On a side note - I think I may have disturbed every farm dog within three miles the other night - might get me some bad results if i keep that up.

Consider one yours, Dave.

As I say, they were bought to stick in my pocket for instant use, whereas I'd set up one of the Foxpros for ambushing.

I'm sure that they'll work just fine if you're prepared to tinker with them. Not a lot of time or inclination here.

I sure did George thanks, and I'm pleased with it too.

Windows intially struggled to recognise the calls on my PC but got that sorted by changing the usb cable. I now have the same calls as my ICOTEC 500 on it but not the whine of the ICOTEC after I switch off the call while the main unit is still turned on. Can't find out how to get the music and bird MP3's off it yet though.

Subject to further investigations I may now put the small unit in a tree or fence etc on low volume and use the ICOTEC from the car for an occasional loud call.

I had the very same caller and it worked a treat, I ran it with a small add on speaker on a magnet on the bonnet

and I took a few Charlie's with it and I only got shot of it after the fox pro arrived back after a few mods,
