Rodp,

Agreed!!

Wasn't he once in a band called 'sky' with Herbie Flowers?

Sunndog,

I wish to make an official complaint to the admin. team about misuse of administrative powers! :D

Ken, on this one I think we just have to acknowledge the fact we know best when it comes to music and leave the others with the riff raff of the music industry. Having said that, it's questionable whether the "others" should actually be called musicians

Yes, he was with sky. He's also acclaimed by leading authorities in the guitar world, such as this.

"Guitar historian Graham Wade has said: "John is perhaps the most technically accomplished guitarist the world has seen."

Eat your heart out Iggy

maybe so, but about as exciting as powdered egg

rock music is capable of sending blood, adrenaline, and emotion thrumming through your body with biblical force
technical ability is unimportant when dealing such a viceral means of human connection

for me that guitar vid was like watching rachel riley do the maths on countdown. Sure its impressive, but she would get a greater emotional response if she was giving me a lap dance.....i'd remember it for longer to

It,s possible I misread that last bit Adam, but get a strange and somewhat weird feeling that you would like Iggy Plop to do you a lapdance

Now when I hear something played to perfection that gives me a good feeling. When every note is in tune and timed to perfection it makes me feel great

Think we'll have to agree to disagree on music Adam
