New to forum - want night vision

Hey everyone, this is my first post. New to the nightvision world but really want a scope now after having a look through few at my rfd. Currently foxing with a redfield revenge scope and mounted led lenser 14.2 on my ruger 22-250. Any one willing to do a deal/swop for entry level nv? Yukon or similar to get me started... Thanks

Welcome mate. I was in the position as you just a few weeks ago. Have now gone 'entry level' nv on my 22.250 and am more than impressed so far. Still getting used to it, as I've been an old school lamp man for 20 years. Clive Ward on here does some great Photons, and tonight am going out for the first time with 'some blokes' home built spotter.
Plenty of very knowledgeable people on here that can point you in the right direction.

There's usually something to suit most NV users in the sales section - and loads of good ideas in the DIY section.

Would i better selling private and buy nv? have a budget of about £300 ish. I know its not much but have to start somewhere

That's probably the better course of action - and the BBS would be a good place to also make a sale post for it. There might even be a photon or whatever on there too.

A guy was wanting to swap a Photon for a scope on there but he's reconsidered now I think.

There is both an optics selling section and a NV section on there, might be worth posting your wanting to do a swap or sell in there too.
