Just spoke to John Carr he makes a universal Tikka extended picatinny rail which you can put on reverse to get the drone back closer to the eye. Is this the same thing as what was made before? I was under the impression that it was a completely different drone mount that brought it lower and further back.

Any ideas?

If the Drone Pro stay's on its standard quick release rail it MUST BE mounted on a 10mm weaver/picatinny rail for the bolt to open on a Tikka c/f rifle.

Yeah I understand that however I was looking for something Similar to the mount Neil mckillop made for the tikka. To bolt directly to the drone and not use the quick release mount.

Thanks for the help though if I can't find a mount like this I will just use the picatinny rail like you said.

Sounds like you're stuck with a picatinny rail... but that's no real hardship with a cheek riser.

I've got a reversed EGW rail on my 595 but as the holes are counter bored to different depths to accommodate the same length of screw turning it round buggers that up, so EGW kindly sent me some different length screws to get round that.....couldn't find anything with the same countersink angle over here.

I bought the EGW from Kinneys Shooting Supplies in the US... Patrick Kinney is a useful man to know ;)

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting.
