Thanks for the heads up on the chains. The chains I use are Duplex, double chain.

Will check them out.

Here is a view of where I am sitting right now. Woodburner stove is crackling away and the kettle on top of the stove is simmering away nicely.

I am just in from feeding sheep. I got to the top of the hills in the left of the photo, and as fate would have it after singing the praises of my machine. It started to make a noise that I had never heard before, Like a seriously expensive kinda noise. I jumped out and set the revs to a continuous speed and lifted the bonnet whilst walking beside the machine looking into the engine bay. Every time I pulled one of the skid steer leavers the gearbox moved from side to side. This is not good I thought. Got back to the house and stripped all the panels and floors out and sorted out the problem. Decided that since I was this far, I may as well do a service at the same time and check all the tension on the chains.

I will have to finnish it in the morning my back is sore leaning into the machine, it is quite low and I am 6 ft tall and 210lbs of pure Scottish cellulite.

Will be back on the hill tomorrow with a rejuvenated machine, Touch wood.

George
He was 11 months old when that pic was taken. wouldn't call him a big heavy set dog then. He is turning 8 this year and is getting a bit heavier with less activity.
He was not prompted to pick the fox up. He stood and watched me take aim then ran straight to it and picked it up and started parading about with it in his mouth. The fox was a cub, thats maybe what is making him look bigger. he is off of good stock. Got him from my brother inlaw who is a full time Gundog trainer.

Without doubt the best dog I have ever had.

I trained him as a blood tracker for Deer. Then I got wise and stopped chest shooting Deer. He pretty much was redundant after a seasons work.

Right. I'm using Windows Vista.

I've tried holding my cursor over the image on photobucket and there's nowt happening. All it's done is make me curse. Been trying to place a photo directly to the page without seeing just a link. Can somebody tell me why, please ?

H
...is this a pistol in my hand, or am I just pleased to see you ?
