George

Live in North Herts... early retired by NU/Aviva when they sent my job to Bangalore (And they're welcome to it! )

Escape to Scotland now and again when I can but always for foxing in April/May...... 20years now I think and managed a whole month this year - just a shame it wasn't good weather and only a few (saw 5 shot 4!) foxes this time - very strange, normally in double figures by the end of the second week. Can't complain about the weather though..... 3 dry weeks last year.

One day I'll get up there full time...... one day.

Cheers

Each time I see George's avatar when he's playing Location Police, I am reminded of this:

That's my brother. He emigrated some time ago. I call it 'gainful employment', but he sees himself as a movie star. It's okay though, I'm not jealous

Younger than me, so doesn't need glasses for reading and can run faster than me too. Then again, he doesn't smoke ;)

This is my uncle. He thinks he looks like someone famous. Can't see it myself.

I wish..... one day hopefully. Been shooting with the same stalker/foxer for around 20 years now... lovely part of the world and he's got access to thousands of acres and a few islands so never boring. Always a good craic.

Got let down for stags around 10-12 years ago and knocked on another mate's door.... "D'yer wanna come up to Scoland n shoot a stag or two?" The bugger beat me to it and moved up around 5 years ago :eh: Since built his own house on the coast about 10 minutes from the where the stalker/foxern his missus live and I spent a total of 3 months up there at various stages of the build. Fantastic sunsets over the sea... big orange boiling sunset skies sometimes - just like you imagine Armageddon will be like.

's me.

(I still intend to start a Happy Hunting Grounds thread with pics on the Hunting Shack and Gallery section - sort of places we'd like our ashes to be scattered type of thing).
