I'm so glad you posted this as I can't be arsed to wait for the new pulsar and in all honesty I'd already decided on the Guide. I just can't find the nerve to press BUY
The HS 307 has usb, rca (yellow) out and power in from a 12v cigar type in car charger.

Good luck which ever you decide to get!

Don't blame you. It's a big commitment.

It doesn't get any easier. I'm looking to upgrade mine. The next step up is a bigger jump again, financially.

Ah... that brings the old joke back to mind...

I used to be indecisive..... but now I'm not sure.

And to make up for the groan.....

When I was a kid, my parents used to cover me with cream and put cherries on my head........
Yes, it was tough growing up in the gateau. :lolno:

Had a nice email yesterday.. Thermals being posted and will be with me today  :D

It isn't here yet though

It's misty as @ here today, its the only time I'm hoping for the mist to hang around. I'm quite interested in seeing if they are 'useable' in the mist like they state..

...and it turned up  but it hammered down last night and I've been busy today

BUT...

First impressions: I still feel the same, I wouldn't want a thermal riflescope as I'd end up shooting sheep :wtf:
Its going to take some time to get used to. I think I could see the improvement to the screen on the EC model but its not really a fair statement without comparing the C by the side. My dogs were pretty hot last night and the mrs looked hot for the first time in years  hope she doesn't read this
The funniest thing was she was walking away from me and looking at the back of her I could see a cold spot on her back pocket. I told her she had something In it and asked what it was.. She pulled out a tissue  they really are impressive at picking up heat 8-) the kids couldn't stop touching the walls everywhere so they could see their warm hand prints over the wall but as for foxes I haven't been out. I'll definitely be out tomorrow, going to have a play with it again tonight as I was struggling to get a decent picture last night from inside the house just looking outside. The sheep and heat sources were showing up fine but the lay of the land looked pretty dire. I've got to work out if I can get a better pic by tweaking the settings a little somehow but to be honest I think its just spend some time and get used to it. I was going to take some pics of the sheep but I wasn't sure about connecting it to a pc to download the image after reading something before about it causing problems. Its going to be a useful tool at certain times but there's no way I'd totally be without Nv and a lamp.

At this moment in time anyway, but I'm always changing my mind and probably will tomorrow when I actually get out with it

Just come back in from a quick looksee..

Much better than last night, it must have been the heat from the house messing with it when I was trying to scan at distance.
Is it ok to leave it switched on with the lens cap on?
My intention is to spot then slip it in a bino pack with the lens cap on to shoot but wondered if it would calibrate itself to death. Didn't think it would really harm it but to use a 4 minute or so stand by seemed stupid when I was using my left eye to spot as it would keep knocking itself off.
