BROKEN SCOPE is it worth fixing ?

hi,
I have a nikko stirling 4-12x50 ao ir md mountmaster side ir,

one of the internal lenses has cracked, this is how it arrived to me, it was an ebay buy,

adjusting the scope (focus ect) does not turn the cracked lens , don't know if that helps,

any idea if its worth fixing, or the value of it as is,

got it a while back, just put it on a paintball gun and forgot about it, it looked cool on my barrett .50 and I was never going to use the gun, just liked the look of it,
the guy gave me half my money back and said it must of happened in the post, maybe it did maybe not but its not the end of the world,

I may just rip all its guts out, its no good in paint ball anyway,

I think the mountmaster is an entry level nikko so its probably not worth spending a lot on to repair , if you check out some of sedstars posts he is doing good things with poking bullet cameras up the arse end of old scopes

Like he said or try the good lenses to see if you can make a good illuminator

thanks for the feedback, will keep hold of it for now, and do some more reading !! maybe it can be of use,

yeah, someone beat to suggesting,you try to shove an EJ230 up its bum...so far, aslong as the EJ230 FITS in whatever scope tube you try, it a very good performing digital NV build...

i'm more of a "tech" guy... as a few of the "better cobblers" complete a few, the lads will sort out POI shift, can it handle recoil, etc etc.

we will collectively compile info on which inexpensive scope is "best", how best to tighten it up, etc etc.

theres a thread of the progress of this build, in the DIY night vision part of the forum... with a cracked inexpensive scope? you have nothing to lose!
