Electronic cigarettes

Post by paulham » 05 Jan 2014, 17:52

So... Electronics cigarettes / e-cigs does anyone use these?

I started using them 8 weeks ago after 12 years of smoking. I haven't touched a normal fag since.

Almost ten months for me.

Geoff uses them and so does Carl.

Unsure what Carl uses, but Geoff and I use mods and tanks. What are you using, Paul?

By the way, I was smoking 40 cigs a day and I'd smoked for 43 years.

Yep im a massive fan of my e-cig
I got an Ego slim from Totally Wicked.
They cost about £36 but you can get the spares.
There liquid is clean as well so it does not clog up like other liquids.
It costs me £4 a week now.

I have my sense on smell and taste back after 20 years and i can breath so much better.

As a treat i bought some smokes at new years as a treat and i hated them.
Gave them away half way though the pack because i nearly threw up. lol

Blimey George. Thank god you finally stopped. 40 a day can't be good for your health or your pocket!

Firstly I brought a e-cig from the online VIP company and it worked great. My mate mentioned that there was a shop nearby that sells them (totally wicked) so I went there for some juice and came out with another starter kit. The VIP was giving me trouble when it was left alone for a little while the juice would start leaking into the mouth piece and the juice tastes nasty.
The totally wicked kit works much better, so I use their clearomisers (spelling?) and I have 2 battery's for my day to day life.

I started reading up online about it all and found out there were massive communities and a huge following. I soon started to get a bit addicted and read up on people's mod builds (just like we have on our forum). Soon enough I had a DNA20D controller in the post, some batteries a AGA-T2+ rebuildable attomiser and some other bits to make my own adjustable mod.

Everything arrived but I didn't have a project box to put it in. Wait for the pics to work out what it is :)

I use a Vivi Nova tank, which takes Boge F16 per-punched cartomizers. Mod is a Provari v2.5 with extension cap.

My Provari takes 18650 batteries which last a day. Tank takes 3ml-4ml of eliquid and that lasts me a day too.

I get two types of 18mg juice. One from the UK and one from China (when China mail is slow, I buy from the UK). I've tried most of the flavour variations, but finally settled on Tobacco

I've had three other mods. One mechanical, one variable voltage and variable voltage/variable wattage. Decided to treat myself to a Provari and can really see why they get such a good rep. Outstanding vape and built like a brick outhouse.

Loving it. Never had, nor fancied, a cigarette since April 3rd last year. Saved £3700 so far

Started using one 11th august last year(2013) , stopped after 11 weeks of using it, haven't had a cig since  .I started smoking when I was 12 , smoked for 46 years. They are good , I couldn't have stopped without it. I can now smell a cig at 2 miles away and come on point in a force 9 gale!. I could eat one at times, but the urge only lasts a few seconds and I aint gonna be caught twice. It was easier to let go of the ecig than I thought it would be.

john

the other brickie I work with has just got one of those big jobbies, looks like a flux capacitor from back to the future!
i'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous

Im still trying to find a jucie which i can vape all day. I have been using custard creme flavour for the last couple of weeks. Ive also got absinthe and aniseed but they are too sweet for a all day thing. Menthol is good though.

Ive got some juice coming from china, its SO much cheaper than in the UK. I was at a newly opened shop yesterday and they want £20 for 15ml, china wants £1.78 for 30ml (im relieved the George has said that he uses Chinese liquids because I was a little worried, George where do you get yours?)

I love the menthol, but yesterday I tried a coffee flavour and it was like picking the wrong one out of a pack of Revels :problem:
