Shot 2 tonight in the rain on baited spot. We spotted 3. Who needs thermal all spotted with an old archer gen 3 with a laser . 1st one was laser shy. Next 2 were iblivious to the laser can't remember missing one in this area. We think it's the same one as last week he was laser shy as well. Only 1/4 mile between the 2 sightings. He will make a mistake sooner or later. Keep on raining they love it

Rats don't like rain it's a wait of time. Good luck with the caller try the vixen call and listen for a reply. If no joy let rip with the rabbit squeal I've found about half hour of calling normally gives a result. I think a lot of people don't give it long enough. Ps what happened in East Enders

I NEED a spotter, is a DIY job BETTER than off the shelf?

I've got all the tubed spotters I need. I'm saying this through gritted teeth but I need a digi spotter to go alongside my thermal. I'm looking to just mount it by the side of my thermal on my 'new' tripod as I broke my old one. I want plain simple so was thinking along the lines of a Recon 750 as it's got its own power source and would just screw straight to the tripod. I'd run this to a screen along side my thermal screen to view but just wonder is it better to build one, would you get better clarity and do they constantly need focussing?
I'm after the BEST spotter possible for distance and detail. What off the shelf options do I have? I have no experience of digi except for ten minutes through a bresser so I'm in the dark so to speak.
