I have decided to build a spotter so im looking for a suitable lens if anyone has one for sale?

If you looking for slr lens, 50mm would be fine, but need two adaptors.
42mm -- c mount
C mount -- m12 mount
The existing nozel on e700 would be too long and need to be trim back to get the right focal lenght.
I have a 50mm 1.8 if you want.

I think you want to be looking at between 1 and 2 times wider than the mag your riflescope is normally used at - because you have that for distance sighting and final identification/safety checks.
Have you already got your camera - if so what is it? I'm no good at viewing angles - but I think someone who is will be along soon.
