If you want to use a slr lens, than you would need that adaptor for m42 mount lenses.
I couldnt see a link for camera, but as long as it has a c mount on it, you would be fine with it.
I was looking for cheaper option for lenses when I came across variouscthreads on m42 lenses, you would get alot of lens for your money. You can pick a 50mm for under a tenner.

what jock is reffering to is a method of tried and tested spotter, stock optic lenses take some beating, but imho m42 llenses are far supperior to any cctv lenses. Specially if you can get a pentax lens.

The camera is fine, you still need the adaptor that jock linked to from stock optics, that adaptor will enable the camera to be furnished with c mount lenses. ( this adaptor replaces the adaptor that the board cam comes with)
Once you have the camera and the adaptor, you still need a adaptor that I linked for m42 lens, that is if you want a m42 slr to go on the cam.
