That's good to know. I did wonder if the external power supply was doing anything to boost the batteries when the plug image was overlaying the battery symbol so now I know it sadly isn't.

Last night was the first night I got to test the battery set up and it works a treat, I'm very pleased with it. Bit dear for those cables but at least I can also just plug the thermal into the 12v on the quad or truck if needed. Only nipped out to check the Welsh mountain Suffolks (

) but shot a couple of rabbits while I was there. If you're bored and got two minutes of your life to waste here's the vid of the three rabbits..

Someone said it was interesting to film a rat with the thermal. There's a distinct lack of foxes here at the moment so thought I'd try the thermal on a rat myself....

That is brill, I did a similar thing but didn't record it with a bunnies head being shot, the fallout area was mahoooosive
