Miracle Cottage CCTV NV sight for sale

Post by some bloke » 01 Jul 2014, 20:37

CCTV NV rifle sight AKA 'scope-less'

My used R&D CCTV rifle sight is for sale as I have started a new project that will need a test bed before I offer any for sale.

It has a low light CCTV bullet camera in the aluminium tube - which has a 'C' mount thread inside the front end - where the lens is screwed in. The OSD cable has been run outside of the battery pod because it's a bit too bulky to remain inside. I got that idea from one of Toni's rigs. I have to draw attention to the fact that the OSD control module is hot melt glued to the battery pod - some the black glue can be seen. The adjustable crosshair is zeroed to my air rifle so it would need a slight re-zero to suit yours. I shall try to find a video about how to do that.

It takes two 18650 rechargeable batteries that are not supplied - so I don't get my butt sued if they go bang. They are fitted by removing the LCD monitor which is velcroed to the battery pod to form a sort of lid.

The Cosmicar 75mm F1.4 lens is very special - and is seriously hard to improve on for less that £200 or so. This is ideally suited to 50~100 yard ranges.

Price is £310 including RMSD. Buyer may prefer to collect and I can guide him to re-zeroing if he needs help.

If any of you chaps who bought those Cosmicar lenses wants this without the lens I'll knock £100 off it.

I can swap a 50mm or 135mm SLR lens and M42 to C mount adaptor onto this rig @ £250.

Thanks Michael, Fading memory - I can keep track of who had what spec when its done on here.

As per our PM's, this will be used as a spotter only so we have customised the requirements:

The crosshair privacy masks will be turned off.

IR fitted - the tail switch is easily accessed over the top of the spotter.

The handle seen here to be supplied - to screw into one of the mount bases.

I also made it a fridge magnet - so you can maybe plonk it on the roof of your car and use an extra long servo extension lead to trail the monitor into the car if you get the urge. :D
