
No expense is spared on my regular spotter builds - only the very best E700 camera is used rather than some of the budget clones that seem to use cheaper but same name second or third grade sensors. The long neck of the camera body has been milled back to ensure all of the nice wide lens rear glass element see's all of the CCD sensor, similar to this:

This photo shows how it can be fitted with a camera suction mount and a DVR velcro'd to the side of the custom made battery/monitor pod, and the monitor trailed into a truck with an extension umilical cord - that can also be connectected to a cigar lighter socket for extended12 v operation: The unit should be switched off to isolate the batteries so they don't get over-charged by the car supply.

You can expect to see this image quality on a night with decent moon & scattered clouds But with a larger field of view because this was done with a 75mm lens - also F1.4:
