Hi splatty can these pots be used on crt viewer from a camcorder

Check the voltage and resistance first. But usually if under 5v it would be fine, you won't damage it by resisting voltage with a 1k pot just to test it. It would be like your batteries running low on your camcorder !

Remember though to connect to the back light of the screen only. The power that runs the crt light and not the crt itself

I don't think log would work on the viewfinder but don't quote me on it, these are linear !
