George, the top photo (with pig) is a 6x45mm wildcat cartridge. Uses a 243 projectile in a 223 case. Loading 80 grain pills in that one.
The current configuration (yet untested with the n750) is a 6.5 Creedmoor. 264 projectile loading 140 grain pills on that one.
I was having a bit of an issue with the 6x45 on 100+ lb pigs. They received the bullet just fine to the head/neck, did the dance for a bit, and then they ran away.
I'm thinking they won't be running after taking one from The Double D (Digital Destroyer).
Thx,
Ben

George,
The 6x45 I built and the 6.5 Creedmoor started out life as a DPMS Arms 260 Rem but I pulled the barrel and bolt and stuck in a Criterion barrel. So its a mutt, but a fine one at that
I like the black rifle for hunting hogs, we overlook a cattle plot that has 500 yards of clearing so followup shooting is possible and safe.
For deer / turkey / other traditional game I use a bolt action, such as my dearly departed Grandfather's Winchester 670.
I have also been looking for a wood stock 22-250 for coyotes and smaller game, haven't found the right price yet.
Adios,
Ben
