Wellies for christmas-what do you have/suggest?

In the past Ive had/ got Le Chameau, Royal Hunters etc but for everyday use I found the best are Muck boots think mine are called Esk, very warm with good ankle support which I found the more expensive ones lacking.

Aigle boots use a harder or firmer type of rubber compound than le Chameau, I found they give better support around the foot and ankle area. Have been wearing my old leather lined ones now for over 20 years (dear at the time, sure, but over the years a great buy), Zips now gone from working,albeit only in the last 2 years (!) but still feel like foot version of a glove . I reckon I'll still be wearing them in another year's time!

I bought a replacement pair this time last year, new ones are darker colour than the originals, but I'm still using the old ones as they just fit so well, and there's still useable tread on the soles of them. I'm out stalking usually 2-3 days a week, and seldom wear anything else to the field or forest. I definitely found the soles were firmer than with the Chameau's, which I found did not give much support at all.
But that's my own findings, and what do I know? Not much help in the price range mentioned I know, but I'd give their cheaper ones a look over or try to see which you prefer.
