Dave's price is a fair one....just a look at the negative feedback on the fleabay seller would make me think twice on buying from him.... and the wait hoping/wondering when/if it will turn up and then there's the risk it might get extras added coming into the country.

And if it don't work...... you're effectively stuffed.

I don't think I'd ever used that 16mm lens but checked it anyway and didn't have much luck with the iris. After trying a few others I looked at it again and found one of the vanes of the iris is dislocated - and there is a grub screw loose inside it that can be seen when holding the lens upright.

I hope you can see it in the photo:



I have a different 16mm lens that some people have had good results with on here although it is a 1/3" format. I am happy to send that together with a 25mm lens - and the 16mm Auto Iris one that I bought at the same time from the Israel supplier. The latter one is a bit scruffy with usage marks etc and I wouldn't offer it up for sale, but as it's a free gift it will sweeten things a little if you would like it.

Given the deal is no longer as we agreed I will wait to hear from you - and will bear no grudge if you decide to drop out.
