Thanks bud, in the end I bought one online as it'll have a warranty at least, the was a guy in Bude selling one but he never got back to my after pm's and posts, so gave up one that one.

So I took one for the team and bought the one from the online shop, cost £367 all in so I'll wait and see when it turns up. But now got to get accesories for it.

Got to look at a doubler and that lense thingy to get a better picture...

I'll post the link once it arrives promise!

Nice one come on then spill the beans where did you get from that cheap, mines only been used once so I'm happy at £350 and even if there second hand they can go back if there's a fault just bought a pair of adjustable high mounts off eBay,mines going on my heavily modded s16s and my add-on (when it's finished) is going on my two glad8tors  also get yourself a t20 3mode ir off marky, and if your going the Yukon doubler route he sells the adaptor click on the hi-tek logo at the top  I'll be using the cheap doubler lens I started a thread on moons ago

Went out last night with my Photon on the .17 hmr for rabbits. Got 7 but found the focus hard work. Lights up the eyes with the built in ri but did fit another ir but found it too much.Did read some where about the focusing but cannot remember what the fix was. Hope some one will remind me. Did find the rabbits did not bolt so much in the dark. The young ones if 2 together the second one stayed still for the second shot.As I have said it was the first outing so early days and many more to come. I think I will have to get a nv mono as that is safer than looking for the target with a loaded rifle. Happy hunting to one and all......

'I'll be using the cheap doubler lens I started a thread on moons ago'

Did it work as good as? 5 pages on the subject but thought it was a little inconclusive by some as no one had done a direct comparison, but awesome use it works as good as, although the eBay links are not up but there are others on there, is the t20 the best value for money, didn't want a costly approach as its been said that the photon doesn't like em!

I'll have to check the NV binos at some point.

Great info guys many thanks...

Yes just as good but so much cheaper lighter but I for one don't like gaffer tape so I've had the bits here for months   so time to sort it if you looked through the pages one fella said he liked it better than the Yukon one so sold that   and it looks the dogs dangles
