This is the UK supplier to go through for LiPo batteries:

These have overcharge protection, the Chinese ones say they have overcharge protection, its much cheaper to say than provide.
This is the breakdown of a Chinese LiPo:
http://ve2zaz.net/blog/index.php?/archi ... ck....html
Basically the UK item will cost twice as much, but will have twice the output.
I've ordered two LiPos from China. One came fully charged, yet died on the first charge cycle. The second came half charged (6 volts) but charged up properly, but in a shorter period of time than I would expect for a 6800mah battery.
So I have ordered one from the UK, including paying the post to Australia. Safety and peace of mind is worth paying a little more for.
On the subject of buying from China, I never spend more than I am willing to lose and order nothing that I require within two months. It's definitely a roll of the dice as to whether you will receive the goods or if they will match the description or be fit for purpose. Its getting easier to source most of the build components for DIY NV from the UK, Marky610, Ian/Sika Stag, Some Bloke, Sure24, Elwire, Ant Supplies, Uttings & Maplins provide most everything required to build an add on.

90% of 5000 is 4500. Elwire guarantee within 10% of advertised capacity.
40% of 9800 is 3920. Check the actual capacity in the link I gave you. 36% of claimed capacity. DX also had a review, now deleted, for a 6800mah battery, it included pics on a hobby charger readout, 32% of advertised capacity.
In other words, a claimed 9800 capacity battery will probably be less useful than a UK spec 5000 capacity battery.
