The magnification depends on the focal length of the lens and size of the sensor in the camera you use
For an E700 with a 1/3 sensor, the magnification would be approx x11

Ah I should of said it was for a 6.5 photon extreme.

Ah I should of said it was for a 6.5 photon extreme.
The sensor in the Photon is 1/4 which would bump the magnification up to around x15

It's a heavy lens to be hanging off the plastic photon housing, 700 grams, or there abouts. IIRC, Gypo is the only guy running an Extreme with this lens, so he is your best source of advice.
Yes it is M42 mount.
FWIW I bought my 75mm Cosmicar from him and it was exactly as described.
