Site issues but now rectified

Post by Claire » 12 Nov 2025, 00:02

Sorry we have been having issues with the site my dad “silent shooter” has had another stroke so I’m now helping out so please bear with me. John who used to do the technical support for the site sadly passed away recently so things have been very difficult but we are now working on the site and will get things back up and running. Thank you for understanding

Kind regards Claire

It might take some time to get some posts going, I had all but given up assuming the forum was gone for ever, happened to be going to click on adjacent link when I tried 'one last time'.

So sad to hear about John (sirhank) may he rest in peace, and wish your father (silent shooter) full recovery soon.

G’morning Claire,
I’m sorry to hear that your dad has had another stroke, I had one myself back in June but luckily mananaged to get back to 95/98% “normal “ whatever that is! Helped massively not only by those around me and the Occupational Therapists but a sheer bloody minded stubbornness and a determination to carry on!

Please pass on my best wishes to Geoff..and not least to yourself, your help and support will be invaluable to his recovery. Stick at it!

I’m also sorry to hear of the passing of John…. Sad to see another one go, Bruce aka Phoenix aka Bruce Almighty died not so long ago too. :(

Very well done for getting the Forum back up and running… there’s an irreplaceable wealth of historical knowledge in these pages even though technology marches on

My very best wishes to you all,

Fizz
